Chapter 157. The Wedding
An orchestra was hired and began to play music typical of the region where they lived. At that moment, Moses saw his daughters enter in dancers' clothes, with a lot of glitter, including the scarves around their waists that had gold and silver details. Their clothes changed color as their bodies swayed. They danced with ease in synchronized movements as they walked through the center of the hall. This dance showed everyone that Moses no longer had three children, but three young women almost of marriageable age. They came to the front of the priest and threw rose petals over the place where the bride and groom were to stand.
The orchestra began to play a new song, slower this time and more romantic too. Bryam entered carrying a cushion with symbols of union in one hand and in the other, a scepter with a tiger head. These were objects that, by custom, brides chose for their grooms to wear as a symbol of a lifelong union.
