Chapter 241. Klainer's Revelations

Arriving at the castle, as soon as he had left his horse in the stable, Mentor entered and his grandfather was still awake in the living room. He thought about going straight through. But there was something unusual about the place. He felt a different energy in the air. An energy that wasn't good. And his grandfather was sipping wine in an armchair and Serena in another next to him, also with a glass of wine in her hands. But the difference was that his grandmother was staring at some point and his grandfather was staring at him with a lot of anger in his eyes. Mentor decided to approach, fearing that they had discovered something about his mother.

"Is everything all right, Grandpa?"

"You're going out every night after the meal. Do you think I haven't noticed? You've been meeting that woman. Why is she still breathing? You only had one mission. One single mission! And you're failing! What's gotten into you?"
