Chapter 260. The Farewell
As soon as they arrived at the palace, Moses went to the throne room to clean it, as he had to tidy it up for Louise's wake. Moses felt a pain in his throat because of the emotions he was strongly resisting letting out. When he arrived in the throne room, everything was clear. Thomás was sitting on a step leading up to the throne. Alone and with his head down. Moses wished there was something for him to do so he wouldn't have to think, but instead he walked over and sat down next to Thomas.
"I thought about getting a coffin for her, but I wasn't sure if that would go down well with you..." Thomas said without raising his head.
"Why wouldn't it go down well? We're all shaken up and I think everyone would like to know that you had the good sense to prepare everything... Were you the one who cleaned the room?"
"Yes. I called the guards and they helped me remove the dead singates."
