Tristan's POV:

If they were able to get to and take Thomas away, it was only a matter of time before they were back. I was not sure they were done and considering they had tried to take Fiona, they must already have ideas. Perhaps they had taken Thomas instead of Fiona as an ambush. 

It was very hard to get Veronica to come with us. She vehemently refused to come saying, "What if Thomas comes back? How would she find me? No, I cannot leave. Fiona's Alex too, what about him? Someone has to be here to give them all that information."

She would not be moved on her decision

"I am sure you saw those people that came for Fiona. I do not need to tell you that they would stop at nothing until they get what they want. 

You should know that better than I do. We all want the same thing but for now, we need to get to safety first.
