Chapter 13. Athena and Vala (2)

The veil was visible again and it opened. The loud gasps that filled the air made Vala smile in triumph. She caught Athena's arm and drew the goddess towards herself, and surprisingly hugged her.

"I have been playing around with you Athena, but don't try this next time, if you think it's because you are the goddess of war you will try to misbehave with every goddamn creature you see, then you are wrong, because I am your goddess of death." Vala said, hugging the life out of Athena. The goddess tries to free herself from the Vala tight hold but couldn't. "Don't embarrass yourself, I am not done yet. Don't ever try to cut my path Athena, or else I'll cut the lines of your life." She added and released her hold on the goddess, smiling as she let go of Athena.

"Darling." Athena said going to meet Ruthless. "Will you just stand there and watch her insult me?" She asked, she raised up her hand to touch him.
