“Enough! I've had enough of your promises which you never keep. I was only trying to help you get over your addiction, I thought I was doing you good but you went ahead to hurt me!” He sniffed.

“Mira, I was beginning to fall for you, I wanted to do everything possible to make this work including helping you but you've made me feel stupid.”

“I'm sorry!” She cried out, trying to touch him but he moved away from her reach.

“Listen to me, don't come back. Don't come back to me until you've learned to control yourself. Until I see a change, we have nothing to do with each other.”

Two months later…

“Mom! Where are my chocolates!?” Lucy called out to her mother who was in the kitchen.

“I'm not getting you any chocolates! Have you forgotten what your doctor said!?” Mrs Richards yelled back, followed by a loud groan from Lucy.

She was badly craving for some chocolates and now she was being deprived of it.
