"Dad ultimately back tracked the way the pack was run allowing the old ways of abusing women and children to return. It kept the more rogue half of the pack from leaving. Unfortunately, the better half of the pack is made to suffer. So while the alliance still remains, the alpha of White Moon supports any Red Fang member coming to the territory for any help and support he can give. When he discovers severe abuse he will use White General as a way to get the wolf out of the territory. My understanding is that he has contact with three sanctuary packs located in New York but the details of how he moves them is unknown.”

“How do you know this?”

Alpha is in shock as I hang my head, ashamed that I didn’t approach the alpha before now with my own plans for leaving.
