Cole’s POV

His voice has taken on an air of sick sweetness as he climbs onto the bed, straddling my ribs. A package is placed on my chest a few seconds before the wetness of a wipe can be felt on my shoulder. I yelp and scream again as a needle is stabbed into my arm. The medication is injected quickly enough that I never feel it over the pain of the needle itself.
