“Alpha Robert had a reputation for being strict towards his children, but I don’t think she had ever been laid into like that. She learned quickly where the line was and somehow managed to keep from crossing it. During her second month there, I came across her making out in the kitchen. I managed to get into the fridge, grab what I was after and get out without really looking. I assumed that it was Andre and didn’t care for the trouble he tends to bring me.
