Chapter 59. Mrs. Preston’s Worries

It was already night time. Mrs. Preston sat on the edge of the bed in the master bedroom and slowly lowered the hand that held her cell phone and at the same time, her brows creased tightly in worry.

She turned her body around to face her husband who was half lying down on the bed and said to him with worry and a hint of anxiety in her tone.

“What do you think is going on? Our daughter should have landed in Country Z by now since she left at noon, but I just can’t seem to get through her number. And it makes me worry that something has happened to her…”
