Angelica’s POV

“My work is being your secretary. I saved you guys because I considered you my friends. Even according to the company’s protocols, if you think I crossed a line or my driving skills can be a problem to the company’s future, I’ll hand in my resignation letter,” I said before turning around.

I was about to turn and leave when someone held my hand, and I clenched my fists.

“No one is asking you to hand in your resignation letter, Li. Ericson is just worried for you. I hope no one is troubling you. You learn these skills when you are racing or have been chased before,” Dylan said, and I bit my lips, closing my eyes.

I appreciate that they care about me, but I wasn’t ready for two hot-ass males to invade my privacy when I didn’t even know what kind of feelings I had for them, apart from pure lust.

“Don’t worry. There’s nothing I would do or have done that would harm the company’s reputation in any way,” I said before turning to Dylan.
