“So you’re saying he did all that?” Max gasped.

“Yes, why would I lie about that?” I giggled.

“Girl, I think he’s falling for you.” Max laughed, giving me a friendly tap on my arms.

“You’re right, Jada’s plan might be working.” I smiled.

“Keep this up and this would no longer be a marriage of convenience.” Max smiled too.

We talked about other stuff including the barista that Max was dating now. Turns out, Max was simply trying to make Jason jealous. That was why he mentioned that his new boyfriend Ethan was coming because according to Max ‘a man can tell when another man is jealous.’

I felt good about the situation anyway because it was good to be recognized and all.
