I tapped my feet repeatedly as I waited by the door for my stupid brother. I brought my phone to my face and began to dial his number again.

“For God’s sake pick up.” I rasped.

And as if my prayers were heard, the idiot picked up before the third ring.

“Calm down Cinderella, I’m almost at your door.” He said and hung up and the next thing I heard was a knock on the door. I quickly opened the door and pulled him inside my house.

“Calm down.” He chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

“What do you mean by you met Jason today?” I asked immediately.

“I met Jason today, that’s all.” He said laughing and I looked at him as if he was missing a screw or something.

“Where?” I asked frowning.

“At the stables.” He said sitting down on my couch.

“Stables?” I asked and he nodded.

“What was he doing there?” I asked and he smirked.

“He was with his wife, being overly protective of her.” He smirked, making me boil in anger.
