“Verjy, your man is staring at you.” Mariah whispered to me, she widened her eyes and pouted behind me.

I sipped a shot of alcohol first before turning to what Mariah was saying.

My eyes landed on a man surrounded by women. He leaned against the bar counter while holding the wine in his hand.
