Chapter 189. Snow on the Beach

Because of the long boat ride to Siariwan, Jay and I eventually ran out of things to talk about. With the cold breeze of the winter air and the rocking of the boat due to the waves, we both unknowingly drifted off to sleep.
I woke up feeling a bit sore from sleeping (I found myself leaning on Aiden, Aiden on Jackson, and Jackson and Jay both slumped forward without anything to lean on), and with the cold starting to prick at my skin. I immediately reached for a thick leather and furry jacket. After putting it on, I noticed that we seemed to be nearing the shoreline of Siariwan where we would disembark.
As I looked out into the distance, snowflakes began to fall from the sky.
In all the years I’ve lived in Denzia as Lee in the present time, this is the first time I’ve come to Siariwan… or actually, to any beach, while it’s snowing! And… I don’t know if I’m just being overly sentimental, but the scene looks so beautiful and serene.
