Before I could reach the cliffside, I quickly turned to my right, where there were many trees and the grass was quite tall… a place where I could run further and hide.

When I turned there, I didn’t notice if the person chasing me was still following. It was so dark that I couldn’t even make out their shadow anymore… I didn’t hear the rustling sounds like before either, because the sound of my footsteps was loud due to how fast I was running, and on top of that, the strong pounding of my heart drowned out all other sounds.

I continued running while screaming the names of Aiden, Jackson, and Jay. I didn’t even know how many times I had called out to them… I also didn’t know whose name I was calling repeatedly, I just kept screaming while I ran.
