Chapter 80. Wishes Upon a Shooting Star

When Tate arrived, it was as if he had joined a talk show, which had three hosts—led by Lee, with Paige and Sarah as the co-hosts, and Zac, Fitz, Migs, and I became the audience.
We were seated at a table near the hot spring, with Tate in the middle. To his right were Lee, Paige, and Sarah, and on his left were Zac and I.
Before we found ourselves in this situation, I had been trying to dissuade Lee from asking questions because, after all, Tate was on vacation, and Lee was going to ask him about his work… Furthermore, with his questions, it was like he was working because it seemed like an interview on a talk show, the only difference being there was a small audience and no cameras.
But Tate was too kind and welcoming—when Lee and Sarah asked him if it was okay to ask about showbiz, to ask about his personal life, Tate agreed without hesitation, even though I was signaling him with my hands, head, and eyes to decline… to not agree.
