Chapter 107

Lucy had thought Bree was going to scold her or something as it was expected that Bree would take Lucas' side since they were best friends, it surprised her and everyone else in the car when Bree invited her over downtown and not even expressing the reason why. However she would always say yes to Bree.

"Yea, I can, why?" Lucy asked unsure.

"Then, come over tonight, let's talk" Bree said and hung up the phone. She turned to Sophia and gave an apologetic look.

"Sorry about that, they sometimes could be very loquacious," Bree said. She desisted from talking about the reason why they were fighting.

"It's okay," Sophia said.

The car suddenly became quiet. Sophia wondered why Bree had put the phone on speaker, was it so that she could hear what Lucas was going to say or to hear what Lucy was saying?

If it was the first reason, then it meant Bree was still trying to matchmake the both of them. That Bree paid no regard to the confession she gave days ago,
