Chapter 104. Selena’s Disillusionment

Selena knocked on Leo's office door once, then entered as usual. She found Leo sitting in his large chair, staring in her direction. It seemed Leo had been intentionally waiting for her, prompting Selena to pull up a chair in front of him and sit down.

"What's up, did you call me?" Selena asked, causing Leo to lean forward slightly, resting his chin on both palms, staring at Selena intensely, making her feel as though Leo's gaze was scrutinizing her.

"Is there a problem?" Selena asked again.

"Are you looking for a document?" Leo suddenly asked, making Selena's heart race. Selena didn't know how Leo could know about her plans. She had been planning to search his office, but why did Leo know first, Selena wondered.

"What document are you referring to?" Selena asked, making Leo maintain his expression, looking at her.
