Chapter 143. They’re Like His Father

Leo stared at the two little angels in front of him, only separated by thick glass. Just a few hours ago, Leo could only stroke Alana's belly and give her strength to deliver them, but now he could see firsthand how their two blessings cried in Alana's embrace moments after being born.

Leo wiped the corners of his eyes as a sudden surge of emotion overwhelmed him. Leo hadn't expected to become a father so soon, leaving him unable to express his happiness in words.

Leo then rose from his seat after seeing enough of their two blessings, and now it was time for Leo to meet his wife. Leo's steps halted, then he smiled warmly as he saw Alana lying on her bed with an IV line still attached to some parts of her body.

Leo then walked slowly and sat in the chair beside Alana's bed, reaching out his hand to stroke Alana's face, which looked very tired. Leo truly made a promise that he would always bring happiness to his small family, no matter what happened.
