(Lena’s POV)

Damien ran at Konstantin with an inhumane speed, so did the rest of the wolves.

One of the vampire’s weaknesses was silver, but somehow Konstantin was still on his feet, even after being shot three times.

I stood and watched, frozen in my spot. Now I understood why I should have stayed away, why Damien thought I didn’t belong here, and why he thought I should be hidden from all this; it wasn’t in my nature. There was so much blood; the vampire’s blood was a dark red color, almost black.

I spotted Diego and Nate amongst many of our soldiers, all at war.
