Chapter 83. I Missed You

'I had no idea other people's life could be so fascinating. I suppose I should be grateful that I didn't have to go through all of that. Perhaps there is a perfectly excellent explanation why things turned out this way,' she thought to herself as she read the internet article about the story Lucilla had told her. 

After telling her about the fake vs. real daughter incident, Lucilla fled after receiving a phone call from home. Miguel, who had been absent, had apparently returned. 

The filial daughter then came home. Of course, Lucilla's departure made her unhappy because she was still unaware that Miguel had returned. He didn't even bother calling or texting her. 

Miguel simply left after calling her that night to tell her not to cause any trouble. And, as much as it hurt her, she realized after a while that it had to be better this way.
