Chapter 74

“Where are you taking me? Why don’t you want to talk? Don’t you have a mouth?!” I asked, irritated when a strange man suddenly picked me up and put me in his black car.

“You must be Lucile’s staff—”

“I’m not affiliated with that woman.”

“You’re talking, I wish you had opened your mouth earlier!”

The man driving didn’t budge despite my yelling at him. If he was someone else, he would have thrown me out of the way.

“So, where are you taking me?!”

“Hospital—”

“In the hospital?! Do I look sick—”

“My grandmother wants to see and talk to you.” I finally earned his interest to glance at my beauty. “So, don’t say anything else. Save your voice for later.”

The guy left my mind hanging in the air. First question in my mind is, why does his grandmother have to see and talk to me? Do I look like a doctor? And by the way... who is this man’s grandmother? What is my connection with their family? I was not friendly before.
