Henrix’s POV

Gwen has already left me. And it took me years to forget her completely. I may have fallen for the same woman who has her looks too, but still there is something in Kris that makes me love her. Something that I didn’t see in Gwen before — the fighting spirit that Kris has.

“Exactly. Make sure you don’t even think about what they will say. If they are not our family, their opinion doesn’t count.” I placed my hand on her head and kissed the top of her head. “I love you.”
