Chapter 25. Kelvin's Friendship with Michael at Stake

Kelvin came home a bit early because he had a lot of questions to ask Diego. He was shocked to see that he wasn't home yet. He took that as an opportunity to shower and prepare dinner. His father joined him in the kitchen looking at him like he could sense something was wrong. "Did anything happen at work today?" He asked.

"Uh?" Kelvin pretended not to hear what his father said.

"Why isn't Diego with you?" Owen changed the question. "Shouldn't you guys be home together?"

"He had other matters to attend to." Kelvin concentrated on the spinach he was cutting.

His father was about to ask another question when the door opened revealing Diego with a smile on his face. Unknown to Diego his uncle and cousin were watching him, he danced, turned, and threw his hands up in victory. Kelvin had to stop what he was doing to look at the drama his cousin was acting. His uncle on the other hand just stood still, watching him with folded arms.
