"Is this how you smoothly talk your way into ladies’ pants?" Aurora found herself asking, liking the position they were in, and then remembered who she was talking to, a sicko, a murderer who had killed his only son, a woman beater.
"No, just only you," Willow’s deep baritone brought her out of her thoughts. "I am starting to like you."
"Yeah right," Aurora said in disbelief, a man, who could murder his own son, could do anything, and Arabella wouldn’t fall for his tricks a second time – no – since she was the one pretending to be Arabella, it wouldn’t hurt to say she wouldn’t fall for his tricks.
Willow was wondering what was going through her mind right now. He wished he had the power to read minds.
The smell of burning food hit her nose, and she pushed Willow away from her, getting down from the counter to quickly put off the gas. She turned and glared at Willow.
