Smiling to no one in particular, Arabella left the door.

"I will, grandma," Aurora said.

"My time has come, child, remember not to allow evil rule your heart no matter what, temptation will come but try to defeat it," Marita told Aurora, yawning. "I feel sleepy."

"Good night, grandma," Aurora said and pecked her both cheeks, then stood up from the bed, and placed the diamond into the locket. She picked up her novel and left for her room.

"Where were you?" Arabella demanded once she saw her twin.

"With grandma, why?"

Arabella stared at Aurora’s neck and couldn’t see the necklace; she stared at her hands and didn’t see it. She saw the novel.

"Can I see that?" Arabella requested, and Aurora gave her the book immediately. Checking it, she didn’t see the necklace and gave the novel back to Aurora. "Did grandma tell you anything?"
