Chapter 32. Ready, Set, Spar!
Addison instantly sidestepped swiftly to the left, causing me to lose my balance from the force that I put my weight on. She tried to literally kick my butt, but thankfully I sensed it before she could ever land her foot. I flipped myself in the air to dodge that attack.
"Seriously, Carter? Hitting a she-wolf in the face? When one does not see it coming!?" she scoffed while forming a defensive stance.
"You would've done the same, Addison," I mentioned, and just stood still.
"Fair enough." She shrugged as she awaited my attack. I jerked my head sideways as we had a staring contest. That was when one of my pack members, named Joey Kugs, almost kicked Addison in the face, but she caught his left leg with her right hand before I could ever help her. She then gripped it tight and twisted his muscles just a little bit, but that still caused Joey to yell as Addison pulled his calf and then shifted all her weight into throwing him away.
