By the time the sun began sinking behind the trees, the entire camp still buzzed with stories from the Compass Game.

And, somehow, every single story involved my sister.

I leaned against one of the wooden posts near the fire pit, arms folded, trying—and failing—not to laugh as Brinn dramatically reenacted how Lily had apparently launched herself across a muddy ditch “like an enraged squirrel.”

“No,” Aya interrupted flatly, biting into a honey biscuit. “That’s inaccurate.”

Brinn gasped. “Inaccurate? I was there!”

Aya raised a brow. “You were hanging upside down from a trap vine.”

“That does not invalidate my eyewitness testimony.”

“It absolutely does.”
