“Thank you, little sub, you have no idea what that means to me. Now, do you want to continue?” he asked.

In his voice I heard a quiver of fear, I was sure he thought I would deny him. This small show of weakness in him made me smile and I knew I could never tell him no.

“Yes, sir. If it pleases you, I want to continue.”

“So prettily said. You are learning quickly, good girl. I want you to go to your cabinet drawer, pull out all your toys, and spread them on the bed in front of you,” he said with satisfaction.

I put him on speakerphone and rushed to do as he asked. I dumped all the toys on the bed and then lined them up into a neat pile.

“Done,” I said breathlessly.

“Okay, now I want you to tell me exactly everything you have.”

I gaped at the phone. He seriously expected me to list them off to him like a flipping grocery list. I stared at my collection, measly I knew, still, I’ve never shared them with anyone before and that got me thinking.<
