My Luna found it hilarious that I was leaving for the cave Logan was in because of a rumor about a small demon.

I had a feeling I’d meet more than a small demon—but not Logan. I didn’t feel like I’d meet Logan.

Along with me came Ray’s relative and other warriors who had been worried about a demon.

I needed to show them that there was no demon, so they need not fear.

“Ray, don’t!” I stretched my hand to block him. In case of casualties, he should stay behind.

“But I’m curious to see the demon too,” he protested.

“We’d catch it and bring it back, like we planned,” I said.
