Chapter 53. Always Disagree

Chris's POV

I stopped moving along with him, his words replaying in my head. What did he mean by that?

“Jake, you always make me misunderstand you,” I told him honestly. “Should I blame Your Silver? Could I stop her?”

He paused his steps and swerved to face me. “Yes, those are the exact questions I asked.”

And he knew he was being annoying? Jake Justin never changed. “You always make me misunderstand you.”

“And why?” he smiled. “Because you can’t answer those questions?”

I frowned, my fists were balling. We were outside the courtroom and I could see his warriors ahead.

Would they be annoyed if I hit their Alpha’s brother? Was he insinuating I wouldn’t dare Your Silver? A rogue?

“You always had a problem with me, didn’t you? And I wondered why?” I inquired bitterly.

He chuckled hysterically. “I can’t dare have problems with you, Alpha King. I only highly disagree with you, and I’m honest about it.”
