Chapter 21

After dinner, all I wanted to do was go back up to my phone and chat with Uche and that was what I did but he wasn't online when I came back. I checked his room through my window and his lights were turned off. He was probably having dinner too at his house so I decided to wait while lying in bed till he came back online.

The next morning I woke up and my phone was on my face, I had fallen asleep while waiting for him to come online. I quickly unlocked my phone and I found out that I didn't go out of the app so it showed that I was online the whole night while I was sleeping.

I saw Uche's messages, our chat was open when I fell asleep, he must have thought I was ignoring his messages on purpose because it all read as SEEN.

[Sorry, I didn't come online earlier] – 9:08 pm.

[Are u mad?] – 9:09 pm.

[I'm really sorry, don't be mad] – 9:12 pm.
