Chapter 29

Jayson’s POV

I called Elsa and she’s picking up. Well here’s the thing, we’re arguing about her working and going to school again. She’s still weak and I’m so afraid that she will hurt again.

Yesterday, she told me that she will go back to work again and I said no. Why would she work again if she has me? I can support everything. She insisted on working and I was mad.

She was mad and left.

I know I know it’s my fault and she’s just stubborn as hell. Now I’m walking to the coffee shop where she used to work. She works there again because she loves to be a barista and there she is. I got inside the coffee shop and saw her working.

Our eyes met and she quickly looked away, I sighed.

“Jay!” Kevin greeted me and I smiled and I ordered a cappuccino and a cheese cake. I paid for it and sat where I could see Elsa working.
