Chapter 83. A Little Run
Someone was actually listening to me, he cared that I wanted to ride a cart an he got me to ride in a cart when I was having a bad day, making tough decisions didn't seem bad now that it was yielding positive results. It didn't feel bad that he was not in love with me, at least he cared, listened and wanted to make me happy.
"That was fun," i said to Min as we paid for our grocery.
"I am happy I could make you happy, just a little gift to my pretty wife," he said and I blushed. He grabbed the two light bags and we walked out of the mall.
"Should i help you?" I asked him.
"No, it's fine, they are really light, we only got four things," he reminded me. The look on the receptionist's face when we wheeled in our empty cart to the checkout, we used the self pay to avoid any issue.
"I'll call a cab," I offered.
"No babe, let's enjoy the evening sun, it's still bright and safe," he said.
