Chapter 34. Good Conversation
"Pretty soon, you'll be leaving this house," Mona murmured, her voice quivering. Her eyes remained fixed on the television screen, and her hands were busy folding clothes. It's amazing how God created women. Each part of their body can engage in different activities simultaneously.
"Andrew's house is only thirty minutes from here. I can visit you anytime," Emma replied reluctantly, avoiding eye contact with her mother. She knew the middle-aged woman was trying to contain the turmoil within her. The same turmoil that Emma was feeling.
"Yes. Visit me and Edward as often as you can. This house will be empty without you, dear."
