Chapter 81. Chocolate Cake

Emma woke up that morning and didn't find Andrew in her room. It was Saturday, so it was unlikely that Andrew had gone to the office. Had he already gone home? Emma got up and went out of her room, finding Mona in the living room.

"Mom, where's Andrew? Did he go home?" Emma asked, only to receive a shake of the head from her mother. Emma furrowed her brow, trying to decipher Mona's reaction.

"You won't believe it if I tell you. So, you'd better see for yourself in the kitchen," Mona replied with a meaningful smile.

Emma looked puzzled and didn't understand. Nevertheless, she walked towards the kitchen. The sight she saw there made her completely disbelieve it. No one would believe it when they saw a man in a plain t-shirt and pajama pants, not to mention the tattoos on his arms, busy putting chocolate cake batter into the oven.

"Hey, good morning, sleepyhead," Andrew noticed Emma's presence in the kitchen. He glanced briefly at Emma and then turned his attent
