Chapter 86. My Baby Girl

Andrew entered the baby room with mixed emotions in his chest. Mrs. Sonya and Shawn agreed to give Andrew some space and time alone with his little baby. As he opened the door to the baby room, a gentle yet unfamiliar yet soothing aroma wafted into his nostrils. Andrew had never smelled the scent of a baby before, but for some reason, this aroma felt immediately familiar and pleasant to him. Perhaps the instincts of a father were growing within him.

"Mr. Jonas?" A nurse on duty greeted him. Andrew nodded, a little confused because there was no baby in a crib. "Your baby is right here." The nurse pointed to one of the baby cribs, and at that moment, Andrew's heart raced for reasons he couldn't comprehend.

Andrew approached, and the tiny creature in an all-pink baby outfit complete with matching mittens made his eyes well up again. In normal circumstances, he might have berated himself for crying for the umpteenth time today.

The baby girl appeared to be sleeping soundly in
