Listening to Juliet recount her past, I realized pain and suffering can indeed come in forms far greater than my own. She had borne and raised her child entirely alone, abandoned by the father who should have been her partner in this journey. Worse still, the father wasn't just any man—he was her handler, the CEO of the agency where she worked.
