Chapter 5. Firefly

All the four entered the building. Everyone threw a weird glare towards Angel but she was only worried to meet Nathan. What if he identifies her? What emotional drama does she have to do then? She was hatching so many lies in case her wig comes off as predicted by Jason.

More than anything she is so disappointed that she would be meeting her all time favorite actors, Nathan and Edward and she is not wearing anything proper.

Damon on the call.

"Where the hell are you?" Damon barked in the call. He asked Mac for some documents but Mac was nowhere.

"Master Karl is here. I came to visit him. I know that you won't come. That's why I didn't bother to ask you." Mac replied nonchalantly while he received a groan from Damon's side.

"Come back before I destroy your flat completely." Damon's threat always scared the shit out of Mac. But today he can't go back without meeting Master Karl. He is 98 years old and a wise priest of all time. He knew everything about Damon but Damon never liked this old man. Damon never liked to be told what to do. So he never asked Karl about anything.

Karl place:-

Mac hung up the call as Damon widened his eyes at his audacity.

"Greetings, Master." Mac sat across from the old man who was silently drawing something on his tablet.

"I have always warned through my dreams and it gave a perfect meaning to me. But lately, all my dreams are connected with Damon and I don't know what exactly is happening with him." Mac expressed his fear. Mac asked about his life often but Karl never discloses them. But if Mac asks about Damon, Karl would at least give a clue.

"Damon has been running behind a firefly which was shining so brightly and cutely. I wanted to stop Damon but he was just drawn to that beauty alone." Mac shortly expressed his dream while Karl's lips twitched to a smile filling that chill room.

Wilson premise:-

Angel entered the washroom to see herself. She is satisfied to see an ugly duck in her style. No one can identify her. Her last minute false teeth are the best things she used there. There is no way they would get rejected because of her previous day's stunt.

As she adjusted her lens again, she heard someone entering the washroom.

"What the hell?" She heard some guy's voice just behind her. She widened her eyes realizing how any guy can enter the women's restroom?

Angel turned swiftly without minding about that poor wig which fell directly towards Damon's side but he dodged it slightly.

Her hair falls freely over her face hiding her features but showing it partially.

Damon froze to the spot looking at her. She was tucking her hair behind her ears and Damon was just silently noticing her movements. Her light brown orbs blinked many times making Damon go crazy in just seconds. Her hair was curled at the end as it danced across her face.

"You creep. How cheap are you? Don't you have a sister? Don't you have a mother? How can you be so shameless to barge inside a women's restroom?" Angel yelled in her high pitch tone. She is already pissed off with her getting up and in addition to that, this guy barged inside the girl's restroom.

Her words helped him come out from the spell and he realized how stupidly he entered the girl's washroom as he was talking with Mac. Damn his stupidity.

But he can't accept his mistake and get insulted more by a mere human. He leisurely swiped the board with his eyes and turned back to the fierce girl who was raging with anger.

"So, I can call you a creep woman if you are the one who came to the wrong side?" Damon stated them calmly as he took steps towards her and she widened her eyes more bigger than before. Before she could check or answer back to him, he came right before her and looking directly into his brown orbs, she felt a sudden jolt in her entire body system. She was staring at those chocolate brown eyes openly and Damon also didn't back off as he was noticing her features.

Never in his 835 years, he got curious about anyone. But he suddenly felt some curiosity towards this human who is a total stranger to him. He has no idea whether he even met this girl or not.

Karl's place:-

"Everything will change. Every starting point has an ending point. But will it be the ending you all want? Or will it be the ending that's destined?" As usual Karl's mysterious words made no sense to Mac. He stared at the man blankly to ask many questions but Karl seemed to have no time to get into another round of questions.

"It's the time when he finally would live like a normal human being. He will get all those feelings back to him. He will be diverted by worldly beauty. You can save him if you could stop him from going behind that firefly." Karl stood up to leave the place as he felt he gave more than information to Mac and Mac would handle things from here.

"Please" Mac pleaded with Karl to give more clarity to his words but he left the place that time. The person who served Karl stood there in front of Mac. He felt a little concerned towards this young guy who has not yet gotten his answers.

"Your dream will happen. It's a warning. You should save him." Ben, the follower of Karl, gave a simple answer to Mac.

"From whom I should save him?" Mac asked, not able to understand that single thing.

"Firefly. It can be anything ruling in this world. It can be money, power, status or it can be a girl too." Ben left the place, leaving Mac totally confused. Nothing in this list can ever divert Damon.

Wilson premise:-

"It can't be a men's restroom." Angel stated them in horror when she saw the board there. She turned in haste as a result of the shock but collided with the hard chest of Damon. She fell directly into his arms. Damon engulfed her safely so that she wouldn't get hurt. There was something about her. He felt his heart for the first time in this immortal life which started beating with her proximity.

"I don't save people for the second time." he made her stand properly. Did he say it a second time? Damn even he doesn't save anyone the first time. He recalls many instances where girls often tried to trip in front of him and he would be standing there like he cares least about it.

She blinked twice and ran inside to take her bag and that's when she realized her wig was on the floor. She hurriedly took that and perfectly fit her head with it. All the while, Damon didn't take his eyes off of her. She has no special features but still, her presence makes him go insane. He damn wants her to stay more. He didn't know where she left in just seconds. He started following her scent with the hope of finding her again on the premises.

"That's impossible for him to get drawn by world beauties" Mac mumbled with a smile but still deep inside he is scared to let any bad happen to Damon.

Mac gets inside the premise not knowing that Damon started falling for something forbidden.
