I Am Hungry for You

Ethan took Kylie’s hand, and he asked her if she still wanted to go to the lake. She smiled and said that she did, but she wanted to bring Pupu. Ethan chuckled, and he said, “Of course you can bring Pupu. I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

Kylie smiled as he led her away, and she said, “It’s weird, but even when I am blind, I feel safe so long as you are with me.”

Ethan chuckled, and he said, “Aren’t you afraid that I might throw you into the lake to feed the fishes?”

“Are there any fish in the lake?” Kylie wondered seriously, “I think there are shrimp and crabs, but no fish.”

Ethan smirked, and he said, “I am pretty sure that there are piranhas in the shallow end. I heard about a young girl who was eaten alive just last week!”

Kylie laughed, and she said, “I don’t believe you. Surely, you jest!”

“Whatever,” Ethan sighed. “It’s your funeral. Anyways, do you want to redecorate the Finch House?”

“Yes,” Kylie replied.
