Chapter 414
Wednesday afternoon, Celeste and Philip Castronova arrived. After their initial greetings, and the questions about her baby, she asked about the progress on the second program. When she was told Patricia had finished it, and they were waiting until Monday to fly back to Charleston to have it copyrighted, Celeste said, "No." She picked up her cell phone and hit a speed dial number.
In New York City, a lawyer dove for his phone, and said, "Shackleford."
"Thomas, you know how I hate when you keep me waiting."
"Celeste, didn't I just get rid of you four hours ago? I'm sorry let me rephrase that; Celeste, darling, didn't you just leave here four hours ago?"
"I liked the second one much better Thomas. What is the name of that Contracts lawyer you considered the best in town?"
"He is the best in the business, Celeste. No one beats the quality of his work. His name is Theodore Nugent."
