Chapter 420

Alan and Susan returned home about 2 PM. Callum and his babysitter came out to greet them.

"Did he tear apart the inside of the house, Becky?"

"No Mister Robbins, nothing that I couldn't put back together again."

While Susan was writing out a check for Becky, Callum said, "Daddy, I saw a man playing underneath your truck last night. Is something wrong with it?"

Alan thought quickly, and said, "Yes Callum, I had a brake light out, and the man had to fix it. I think I will change my clothes, and check it to make sure he did correctly."

"Can I watch while you check it?"

"Are you going to be a mechanic when you grow up?"

"No, I'm going to be an astronaut."

"Then what are you going to be doing under a truck?"
