In Washington, two hours after the President gave his edict to Bob Brooks and Michael Free to find out who was after Patty, Harold and their two programs; the two directors sat in conference with the heads of the Treasury Department, and the Secret Service, to map out a strategy to find who might have funded this operation. No one from directors down, or janitorial staff up was to be excluded.
For the next seven days, all non-essential work would be put aside to work on this problem.
