Chapter 47
She didn't waste a second before trying to pummel him to death in the back seat of the limousine. He was giggling like a kid on Christmas morning.
When the limo pulled up in front of their apartment, Edward caught her arms and held them to her sides. He planted a kiss on her nose and said, "We'll pick up right where we left off once we're inside."
Jemma stared him down and replied, "You better believe it." With that, she hopped out of the limo and made a beeline for their apartment.
Edward settled up with the driver, who was sporting a grin from ear to ear. He handed over more than enough for the fare, and the driver chuckled, "Looks like you've got a fiery one there."
"Yeah, and I swear by all that's holy, I'm holding onto her tight." Edward cracked the door open cautiously, bracing for incoming projectiles. As soon as his head peeked out, he dodged back inside as the first object came hurtling his way.
