I just looked at them without losing attention to either of them. I didn't like the affectionate way they hugged each other, but I wasn't going to think badly, they were probably friends and hadn't seen each other for years.
Soon the two parted ways and the girl, Rosie, looked embarrassed.
"I'm sorry. I get emotional when I see Colton,” she apologized, trying to sound less mortified.
“Anna, this is Rosie. Rosie, this is Anna.” Colton was quick to introduce her to me. The blonde shook my hand and put what looked like a genuine smile on her face.
"Nice to meet you Anna, I'm sorry to be so effusive but it's impossible to forget your first love" she smiled and winked at Colton. Especially when years ago we had a very nice wedding reception.
Do you remember Colton? I stopped my hand in its tracks.
