Fucking hell. It was a boy. My son. Our son.

My knees almost buckled as I watched the nurse taking him to be cleaned and weighed. My heart slowed down and I felt tears falling from my eyes. I let them fall as my heart swelled with happiness. 

"You did it!" I exclaimed, smiling down at Sienna. Her face held a gentle smile as she closed her eyes.

The next hour was a blur. Sienna was checked over and she was now sleeping as she was very exhausted. The room was cleaned and I was now sitting on the cushioned chair beside her bed. I didn't know what time it was but I was fucking tired and wide awake at the same time.

Shortly after, the nurse came back with a small, quiet bundle in her arms. In fear, I wasn't even breathing at all for a short moment. 

She smiled and told me about the baby's health. How he was strong and healthy. Perfect. She asked if I wanted to hold him and a single tear ran down my cheek. I nodded, unabl
