Chapter 42

Sienna

I wasn't prepared for the barrage of water he suddenly pushed at me. I chuckled as I steadied myself as best I could. I wiped my wet hair out of my face and narrowed my eyes. Then I mouthed 'game on' at him just before I launched a tidal wave of water back at him. We were both in fits of laughter as we splashed each other.

When we were satisfied that we were both soaked to the bone, we swam back to the shore. I walked ahead and saw that my dress was slightly transparent as it had clung to my body. I rubbed my forehead and tousled my wet hair back. I felt two hands touch my shoulders as a jacket was placed on me. I turned to see that Eric had placed Gabriel's jacket on me. 

"Another man is checking you out," he stated.

I sighed as I grabbed the sides of the jacket and pulled it closer to me. It was beautifully warm, and I didn't even shudder. 

"Who?" I asked. 

"Me." He chuckled.
