POV: Harin

Little by little, I also surrender to sleep. I don’t even go through forty percent of the exhaustion and stress that Harin goes through, but I get a little tired because I try to be the best for him. I always try to be by his side when he needs me.

I don’t know exactly when I fall asleep, but I wake up to the sound of my alarm, and it feels like my eyes were closed for only two minutes. I sit up, yawn, and turn off the device. I look at Harin, and it’s impossible not to smile. He’s completely knocked out, the alarm didn’t even manage to wake him up a bit. His mouth is now open, and his cheek is creased under the hand that supports it.

I bend down next to him, knowing it will be a tough task to wake him up and still keep him in a good mood, but I know it’s necessary, so I start calling him slowly.

Harin curses at me, he always curses at anyone who wakes him up from his sleep because he simply hates being awakened. But I don’t give up, I keep
