Chapter 7
POV: Jaewon
“What do you want to drink, Harin?” Taesu asks.
“Gin with ice,” Harin smiles.
“Bro, you never get tired of this, do you?”
They exchange more smiles until Taesu goes to the bar.
“Brother?” I dare to ask, fueled by curiosity.
“Oh, yeah. Harin is my brother,” SiHo answers.
“Brother? But the last names are, um, different…”
“We have the same mother but different fathers,” Harin calmly explains. “Taesu was born first, he’s twenty-nine. I came only six years later, turning twenty-three in October.”
“Oh…” I nod, smiling faintly. “Got it. That’s cool.”
“Not so much,” Harin says, taking a sip of his brother’s beer. “When we were younger, I used to cry a lot when Taesu had to go stay with his father. Mine… well, I never met him.” He shrugs. “So those were days without my only brother. And without him, it meant I couldn’t mess with his toys.”
“Your mom didn’t allow it?” SiHo asks.
